Eric Prokesh originally contemplated a career in financial services. Hired by a designer friend to handle the books and financial statements, he soon became interested in design and began what became a four-year apprenticeship

Eric been featured on HGTV’s Homes Across America program. His work has taken him as far afield as New York, Washington and Mexico City. He makes use of frequent trips to Europe to ransack museums and historic houses for inspiration and to add to his specially selected inventory of antiques.

An amateur cook and lover of food, he has often been called upon to cook for visiting singers and conductors appearing at the Dallas Opera. Some of his recipes culled from his travels were featured in D-Home.
